Step 5: Go-Live Prep

Review this article to prepare your field staff for app training and to prepare to go-live using eCaring. 

Purpose

To prepare field staff to use the mobile app effectively and to ensure you are ready for your agency go-live date.

Who should review this article?

Administrators 

Mobile App:

  1. Review and Update Mobile App Settings:
  2. Enable alerts and notifications
  3. Send app invitations to staff
  4. Instruct staff to:
    • Download the app and sign in
    • Review the app and features 
    • Begin using the app to clock-in and out of shifts starting on your go-live date

Best Practices

  • Require app usage before go-live.
  • Use notifications for compliance (clock-in/out, task completion).
  • Provide quick-reference guides for field staff.

    Best Practices

    • Check the Shift Monitor page frequently to identify staff that maybe having difficulty using the app or for missed clock-ins or outs
    • Review and verify visits daily
