Why can't I add a field staff to a client's schedule?

Review the requirements for being able to schedule a caregiver to an Open shift.

Missing Payrate

If you are attempting to schedule an aide for a shift, but they are not appearing in the search, the most common reason for this issue is that they do not have a wage entered for the service.  

To check payroll for staff, navigate to their profile and select Payroll.  

Scroll to their pay rates and review if they are missing a service and associated pay rate. 

Once entered, you will be able to add the staff to the client's schedule. 

Missing Service

If you cannot add the service for payroll, you may need to add the service as an authorized service that the staff is permitted to provide. This can be done under Edit Profile.  

  

Once the above has been checked and entered, you should have no issue adding the staff member to the client's schedule. 

Staff Status

For an aide to be scheduled to a shift, the aide's status must be "Active". You cannot schedule "Applicants" or staff with an "Inactive" status for a shift.
