Special Instructions, Map Features, and Find Open Shifts

Special Instructions

Special Instructions are viewed under the My Clients page. 

The My Clients page can be found in the mobile app menu by clicking the top left-hand icon (three horizontal lines) and selecting My Clients from the menu.

Select the client you wish to view. 

This will display further information about the aide, including age, gender, address, and map location.

A significant source of information can be found in the text box. This helps coordinators share information with aides that can be helpful but isn't already shown within the mobile app.

In the example below, the information shared is related to parking and accessing the home. This enables the aide to obtain information quickly without calling the office.

This information is entered by strictly Office Admin under Special Instructions in the client profile. Navigate to this section by selecting Edit Profile > Special Instructions.

 

Map Features

The aide can view the street address on an interactive map within the app as well. This enables them to determine parking, how to circumvent traffic, or evaluate proximity to public transportation. 

Using their fingers, the aide can pinch to zoom in or out, as well as move the map around to view the surrounding area.

Find Open Shifts

Aides can view open shifts that they qualify for by selecting the menu button and selecting Find Open Shifts from the menu. 

They will be able to view a list of open shifts. If they see a shift they would like to work, they must CALL THE OFFICE. Aides cannot assign themselves shifts from the app. The coordinator in the office must approve the shift and update the schedule accordingly. 

The aide can select the phone icon to call the office directly.
