Determining Readiness for EVV ConfigurationTo assess if your organization is ready for EVV configuration, consider the following steps:

Access to Aggregator Portal
- Ensure that your organization can access your state's aggregator portal. This access is crucial for transmitting EVV data.

Verification of Procedure Codes
- Confirm that all relevant procedure codes have been updated and verified. This is essential for accurate billing and compliance with EVV requirements.
- Verification of Client Information
- Verify that your client's names are entered correctly and do not contain and special characters like: (),/,-, etc
- Verify that your client's date of birth is entered and correct.
- Verify that your Client Identifiers are in the correct fields.
- eCaring's uses the following logic to determine the EVV Identifier for your clients:
- If the Client Profile contains a value in the "Medicaid ID" field, eCaring will send the qualifier of "Medicaid ID" and the value from the Medicaid ID field on the profile will be sent as the identifier.
- If the Client Profile does NOT contain a "Medicaid ID" then eCaring will send the Qualifier of "Client ID" or "Client Custom ID" (depending on your state) and the Value in the Billing ID field associated with the payer for that visit will be sent as the Idenfitier.
