How to Add Service Tasks
Adding Tasks to your Client's profile is crucial to informing caregivers of care that needs to be implemented during a visit.
Follow the steps below to add service tasks to your Client's profile.
These service tasks will be automatically updated and added to your caregiver's activity note on the Mobile App.
Step 1: Navigate to your client's profile.
Step 2: Select Care Plan
Step 3: To add a New Task, select Add New above the Tasks section. This will open the Add Task window.
Step 4: Complete each section in the Add Task Window.
- Task: Select the task(s) you wish to add to this client's plan
- Services: Select the service(s) the tasks should be applied to
- Days: Select which days these tasks are to be completed. (It is strongly encouraged to select all days of the week even if a shift is only once weekly. If a Monday shift is rescheduled to a different day and only Monday is selected, then the tasks will not show for the other days.)
- Effective Date: Select the current day or a date in the future. Tasks cannot be applied retroactively.
Once you click Save, all tasks will populate in the Task list.
Tips:
- If you don't see a task you would like to add, you can add tasks to your Master list under Admin > Service Tasks from the left hand menu.
- If your caregiver doesn't see the tasks listed when they notate the visit ensure the following:
- The tasks are applied to the correct client
- The tasks are applied to the correct service(s)
- The status of the task is Active and has not expired
- The task is available to complete on the day of the caregiver's visit
- Your caregiver will need to refresh the note and the tasks will update accordingly
