Client Notes & To Dos

A very helpful section of the client profile is the Notes & To Dos.

This can be found in the client's menu toolbar. 

There are four sections under Notes & To Dos.  

1) Notes 

2) To Do 

3) Messages 

4) System Generated Notes 

 

Notes 

The Notes section allow you to apply a filter to search. You can filter using a date range, selecting a specific category, and in the case of Notes, selecting a status. 

To add a New Note, view the Notes page and click Add Note

Clicking Add Note will open up the dialog box, as shown below.

  1. Category = indicate which category this note falls under. You'll select a category from the list that populates.  
  2. Status = Select the urgency level of the Note. You may select from Normal, Mid Level, and Urgent.  
  3. Permission = Select if everyone or only office staff will have access to view this client note. 
  4. Employee = Utilize this section if this note pertains to a certain employee, though it is not required 
  5. Reference Date = Select the date that best fits for the note  
  6. Note = Complete this section by adding the note and click Submit

    To Do 

The To Do section allows you to create a list of tasks to be completed.  

This section also allows you to apply a filter to search. You can filter using a date range, or selecting a specific category. 

Add a new To Do, view the To Do tab and Click Add To Do. 

You will see different options in the Add To-Do Item window. 

  1. Regarding = Type in the name of a client or staff member if applicable 
  2. Item = Is there a specific item this to do pertains to? Such as “treatment plan,” “follow up with a client’s family,” etc. 
  3. Priority = Select the appropriate level of priority (Normal, High, Urgent) 
  4. Category = Select the appropriate category for this to-do item from the dropdown menu.  
  5. Start Date & Due Date = Selecting these dates it a great way to ensure staying on schedule 
  6. Note = Enter the details of the task to be completed 

Messages 

 

This section will allow you to view sent and received messages. 

You can filter messages by date and read status. 

*Note: You cannot send a message from this page. Please navigate to the client's dashboard to do so. 

 

System Generated Notes 

This section displays notes automatically created by eCaring. 

This section tracks activity on the client's profile, including creation and scheduling. These notes include who made the changes to the client profile.  

Under the Action column on the ride hand side, you can view the full note.
